2. To bear witness to the love of God and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ
3. To further those objectives in the work of the hospital and in it’s training of medical and other workers
4. To purchase, lease or otherwise acquire, buildings or any other property, real or personnel and to construct, provide& maintain stores, works, plants and things which may be pre –requisite for the purpose or capable of being used, conventionally in connection with any objective of the hospital.
5. To do all such other acts and things as are or may be deemed conducive to the attainment of any of the objectives of the hospital.

About Us
The Anglican Church now the Church of Uganda (C.o.U.) Kumi Diocese that was part of Soroti Diocese founded Ngora Freda Carr Hospital in 1922. It is a rural Private Not- for -Profit Hospital (PNFP) located in Kumi District in Eastern Uganda. It is about 17 km to the West of Kumi Town
Ngora hospital is a 180-bed hospital with outpatient (OPD) and inpatient services including an attached District Maternity Unit (DMU), which provides general maternity services.
Ngora Hospital is regaining its glory and potential over the past years. With the co-operation and together with the District Local Government (DLG), Ministry of Health (MOH), local population, staff and other developmental partners e.g. UPMB and other NGOs and Board of Governors (BOG), the hospital is striving towards the positive direction with the limited resources available.
Following the government policy of decentralization of health services, Ngora Hospital is now the headquarters of the Health Sub-District (HSD) – (Ngora County or Constituency) with a rural population of 105,922 (2002) projection. It is charged with the planning, coordination, supervision, management and monitoring of the health services in the county hence now acts as a referral facility for Ngora County. It also handles patients from neighboring districts such as Bukedea, Palisa, Soroti, Amuria, and Katakwi who come for specialist services (Gynecological clinic, Mental Health clinic, Dental clinic)
